Calusa Cat Effigy Statue
Item: CAT2

This cat statue is fashioned after a wooden statue that was found in Key Marco, Florida.  It was hand built with native clay using a coiling method.  It was then traditionally fired in a wood fire which was smothered to create the lovely black color.   This native clay has a tendency to look very metallic when fired in reduction.  This statue has that very metallic look which I think is quite attractive.

Size: 6.5 inches tall 2.25 inches wide 3inches front to back
